Been going here since they opened in 2008. And ive performed here a few times too! It's a great theater tucked right in the middle of downtown worcester! Lots of traveling shows come through! Their parking garage is right across the street and lots of restaurants in the area to enjoy before the show!!! I recommend making reservations at a nearby resteraunt, parking at the parking garage, and walking over to enjoy some good eats at your place of choice before the show! This time we saw Beetlejuice! Highly highly recommend the show and this venue!

Paid $180, saw no show. Be aware they do not cancel or refund shows even during a blizzard. Supporting the arts becomes a risk-reward proposition. I like to support theater, but I usually like to see a performance with that support.

What a great visit we had while attending a performance of “A Christmas Carol”. I was so impressed with all manner of the production, from the sets and scenery, the music, lighting to the acting. I am looking forward to viewing more productions at The Hanover Theater very much and can highly recommend doing so.

Saw Betelgeuse the Musical. Fantastic show! Theater is on small side so every seat is a good one, able to see stage and hear everything!! It's our favorite place to see a show! ❤️

Don't let the outside construction ward you off from coming inside to see a show. The line moved seamlessly. Well staffed. Bathrooms were clearly marked and very clean. I sat in gold circle orchestra. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of leg room. The sound system was great. Lighting was amazing. I liked that there were no stairs, it was sloped and carpeted. The drink prices were reasonable. Bottled water was 3.00. Easy in and out of the theater. I will attend again now that I know how amazing this page is.

The Hanover Theatre website online ticket sales system is glitchy. Your credit card may get charged but sales receipts and tickets never issued. The box office staff will indicate no knowledge of how the payment systems work if you call for help, and they are rude and unhelpful. Should you manage to obtain tickets and attend a show, you'll find that the volunteer ushers also are rude and unhelpful. The last time I attended, the ushers shut and blocked the doors to seating five minutes before the scheduled Intermission ended, forcing me and several other theatre-goers to miss most of the second half of the show. No explanation, apology, or refund was offered. I will not be returning to this theatre.

When I first walked in, a horrible smell of urine and blood hit me. Maybe it was for an act, god knows what. When we got to the theatre of the performance I was watching, they had forced us to sit up front so we had to look up the whole time, my neck was burning the next day. The staff was unbearably rude, yelling at us to pay attention to the show. Note we are full grown adults. The snacks they offered were freaking cold, and stale. The performance itself was done by young children which should be in school. Never in hell am I returning.
